Why do art pieces live longer than the actual beings who created the very form in where those pieces would never cease to exist? It’s simple. Whenever a person hangs a certain painting on the wall, a painting from years back, whenever we listen to songs from the past, whenever we read a book that outages us, we are celebrating the birth of the pieces while granting many more days and years for them to shine through.
Following that habit of preserving greatness, The Ethio-French Alliance in collaboration with the Dutch group the EX, will host the photographic exhibition taken from the photobook «Getachew Mekuria A lifelong Music history in photos, from The Municipality Band to the Ex» This evening at 6:30 PM at Alliance Ethio-Francaise.
