Are You Living Or Are You Just Safe?

It’s true when they say we only get to live once. Through the whole process of all the trial and error. Errors either we’ll grow through or see best selves fade by dwelling within purposelessness. It is half way through our lives that we get to live the life we wanted as kids, if we are ever lucky to realize that that is. But most of the time we are busy living a life for approvals sake, the “safe” life and the determined. So yeah, we get to live only once and still we follow a path that’s far from our desire. We decide not to decide which is a decision by itself, a dangerous one. So if you are in a position where you are feeling nostalgic within your mind, not able to decide which way to go, what your calling is, then the following simple questions gathered from many blogs, personal experiences and professional suggestions, will help you spot what you have always been desiring. While the rest is up to you. To start making the best out of your one life or to just spend it out, to stay safe?

That is the question.

confronting yourself is a huge deal, as ignorance is a technique we all use. Ignorance of our stance, our values or our desires. it’s easier to ignore all than to give all the whys sometime to sink in. Because truth be told, after it’s said and done, we know something has got to change. once we dare to confront the mind, it will not settle for anything less. less being the undesired yet approved path we walk by, less being the grass we water across our fences.

So ask yourself some of these questions when you feel stuck.

“We make our world significant by the courage of our questions and by the depth of our answers.” – Carl Sagan

In what ways are you being perceived, that you’re not aware of?

Are your “shoulds” getting in the way of your happiness?

If you were dying, would you worry about this?

Why not?  What would happen if…? What’s the worst that could happen if you step up to do exactly what you want?

When was the last time you laughed out loud? What caused it?

Are you making the same mistakes over and over again?

Forget your real age for a second – now tell yourself how old are you?

What was the biggest change initiated by you in the past 5 years?

When was the last time you were proud of yourself?

What stops you from making the first step towards your dream?

Usually do you listen to your heart or to your brain?

How can you better embarrass yourself?

What would people know about you after you’ve worked together for a year?

When do you stop calculating risk and rewards, and just do it?

.At what time in your recent past have you felt most passionate and alive?

What are you avoiding?

Which worries you more – doing things right or doing the right things?

What opportunities are you looking for?

How can you create these opportunities?

Who are you trying to prove wrong?

What do you wish you’d spent less time doing?

live don’t just stay safe.

Good Day! Good luck!
