This annual art show promotes Ethiopian artists to the world as part of the hotel’s corporate social responsibility program. Yona & Herd Jazz Concert | 8-10pm

As part of the 100th anniversary of Finland’s, the Embassy of Finland and Alliance Ethio-Française are partnering up to host a jazz concert featuring Yona (vocals), and Herd (marimba, bass, drums) from Finland, together with three talented young musicians from the Yared School of Music (guitar, saxophone, flute). Fekat Circus brings the first Christmas circus performance to the oldest theatre in Africa, Hager Fikir Theater. Enjoy a morning of uncovering the meaning of Christmas in Addis Ababa. Keeping with the Christmas spirit, all raised funds go to our clown-therapy project in the pediatric ward of the Black Lion Hospital (Tikur Anbessa). Okinawa Song & Dance Theater CHURA Africa Tour 2017 | 5:30-6:50pm
Italian Culture Institute
Entrance: FREE
With support of the Embassy of Japan in Ethiopia and Japan’s Agency for Cultural Affairs , CHURA will perform traditional Japanese dance and theater in celebration of the 60th year anniversary of the Japan-Ethiopia Friendship Treaty. Seats are limited and are on a first-come, first-served basis, so make sure to arrive early.
