The Ethiopian Diaspora Fellowship (EDF) program designed to promote leadership development, public service and creative storytelling; Through training, service in an organization in Ethiopia, peer-to-peer mentorship, and storytelling, is once again open for applicants.

Fellows as always will have an opportunity to increase their own cultural identity and be a catalyst for growth and change in Ethiopia.

This year EDF will be having partners in health, education, non-profit, HR and private investments. The five partners for 2017 are:

Important Dates:

-Application due (June 2nd @ 11:59pm PT)

-June 26: Fellows will be selected

-3rd Week of August: Fellows leave for Ethiopia.

Fellowship Requirements:

-Be at least 18 years old

-Be of Ethiopian origin (by at least one parent)

-Be a legal resident or citizen of the U.S.

-Have had completed at least 2 years of post-secondary schooling

-Have professional skills and experience for a partner project
