The Ethiopian Transport Authority said cross border bus transport between Addis Ababa and Khartoum will launch on the coming Sunday.
Public Transport Efficiency Authentication director with the authority Tesfaye Belachew told EBC that the public transport project between Addis Ababa and Khartoum has taken about eight years. He also addressed that the first service will launch the coming Sunday March 12th 2017.
The public transport service is believed to create and develop a bond through trade, investment and tourism sectors.
The cost for the transport is set out to be 60 USD and would only take two days to reach Khartoum from Addis Ababa.
