Robel Kiros on his foundation “Robel The Whale Foundation” and a funding system for the upcoming aspired swimmers.
By now the world will remember the name Robel Kiros at a snap of a finger with no line extended ahead for any more description as he has become a legend of his own kind. The 2016 Rio Olympic was introduced to The young Ethiopian Swimmer who later on the competition made the headlines for many abroad as a media sensation with the name “ Robel the Whale”. The young man with his intention to do something different for his country aside running is quite said to have made that possible.
Robel, has now launched a foundation “Robel The Whale Foundation”. He briefly talks about his dreams, his struggles to reach his post, his first competition and his vision within the foundation. He stated that he recently came up with the idea of a go-fund account that donators can support in setting up swimming facilities to train in Ethiopia. This is a great way of supporting people with the passion for swimming and competing.
“The donation can support in setting up swimming facilities to train in Ethiopia. This is a great way of supporting people with the passion for swimming and competing. With this donation, I sincerely hope that people in Ethiopia will get the chance to train in a proper swimming facility that I was not able to receive. I continued to prepare myself for the Olympics without a trainer, even though the Ethiopia Swimming Federation was not equipped with a typical size training swimming facilities.” Says Robel.
